”…the strangest thing was when Premier Redford went on stage with her caucus and sang the John Denver classic “Country Roads”. In my opinion a song that has the line “West Virginia, mountains momma” should not be sung anywhere. It reminded me of the anime Whisper of the Heart, where they also weirdly sang it. It just didn’t fit in a Japanese movie. It doesn’t fit anywhere but West Virginia.

I got a letter from my mom.
